Manoah Homes

Manoah Homes runs a retirement village Manoah Village and a residential aged care facility Manoah House which are both situated on the same site in the semi rural suburb of Martin in the Perth metropolitan area.

We are a Christian organisation which was founded years ago by the Christian Reformed Churches in WA. Since our inception we have grown considerably and through the grace of God have provided care and facilities to look after our elderly members. We do however accept persons who are not members of our churches or of any Christian denomination as long as they are prepared to uphold the concept of a Christian village and Christian aged care facility.

The Village itself contains 24 independent living units, a community hall, and a crafts room. Whereas, the House caters for high care aged persons in a small, friendly and homely environment.  Currently the House has 33 beds and is an accredited aged care provider through the Department of Social Services.

The name Manoah is derived from Samson’s father in the Old Testament book of Judges. The Hebrew word Manoah has 3 different meanings:  Rest, Renewal and Consolation. All three are very appropriate descriptions of what we strive to offer our elderly residents.

Manoah Homes is one of the trading names of the Association for Christian Senior Citizens Homes WA Inc. The Association is registered with the Charities Commission and the Australian Taxation Office as a charity.  Consequently, we are a not-for-profit association.
