To all who visit Manoah House, I encourage you to sign in to the electronic tablet rather than the paper copy.
Also, a reminder that to visit someone in Manoah, you are required to wear a mask at all times!
All visitors to Manoah House will need to show evidence of at least 2 Covid-19 Vaccinations (as approved by the TGA, Currently Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Novavax). We encourage all to get their booster vaccine as well.
We are working through the process of administering Boosters and Winter doses of Vaccines to our residents, depending upon their situation and consent.
Whilst we can view it on the Apps (Service WA or Medicare express), we would prefer to see a soft copy sent to us or a hard copy we can copy, just as we have done with the Flu Vaccination certificates for the past two years.
We have increased burdens placed upon us as we answer to both State and Federal Departments.
You can send a copy to [email protected]
We expect that resident families, contractors, and Staff will be required to have the Flu Vaccination again this year when it becomes available. And at present, our Expectation is that Visitors and Staff will need to have a current Flu vaccination to enter the facility by mid-June. So we are currently organising to have our Residents and Staff Vaccinated against the Flu this month.
Regarding Covid-19 and the current situation in Perth and Western Australia, if you are unwell or are a close contact, you must stay away till better (or seven days); you can contact us via phone or facetime.
Likewise, if you have a cold or cough symptoms, get tested, follow directions, and refrain from Visiting Manoah whilst unwell.
There is currently in Perth also community transmission of Gastroenteritis (Gastro, Diarrhoea and vomiting ). Please refrain from visiting Manoah for 48 hours after symptoms have ceased as you remain infectious during this time.
Suppose you or any visitors are currently unvaccinated against Covid -19. In that case, we are unable to let you into the premises or gardens of Manoah House (there is a $100,00 fine in place for a business that breach guidelines), and WA Police and Worksafe are visiting workplaces to ensure compliance. If you contact myself ([email protected]) we can organise a way for you to visit your loved one in a Covid-19 safe way.
If you plan on taking a resident out to a facility, please let us know in advance.
Thank you, and God bless, as we continue to try and keep our residents safe from COVID.
